2. Service description

Vahti is an AI-powered call screening service for entrepreneurs and small businesses. When calls are forwarded to your Vahti number, our AI agent answers, identifies the caller, and generates a structured summary. Results are available in the Vahti mobile app and web dashboard. Known contacts ring in your Vahti app. When your calendar shows you as busy, calls can be automatically routed to the AI agent based on your preferences (all calls, or all except VIP contacts). Vahti only processes voice calls — text messages, SMS, and 2FA codes are never affected.

3. Account and eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and provide a valid email address to use Vahti. The service is intended for business use. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.

4. Call forwarding

Vahti requires unconditional call forwarding — all incoming calls — from your carrier (Elisa, DNA, Telia, or other Finnish operators) to your assigned Vahti number, e.g. by dialling **21* followed by your Vahti number. Every incoming call is then handled by Vahti: unknown callers are answered by the AI agent, and known contacts ring in your Vahti app. Keep the Vahti app installed with notifications enabled so known callers can reach you. Conditional forwarding (for example only when unanswered) is not supported. You are responsible for configuring and managing call forwarding with your carrier. Carrier charges for forwarded calls may apply according to your mobile plan.

5. Pricing and payment

Vahti offers the following plans (prices include VAT):

• Personal (1 year): €11.90/month
• Personal (2 years): €9.90/month
• Business (1 year): €19.90/month
• Business (2 years): €17.90/month
• Business Multi (1 year): €15.90/month per seat
• Business Multi (2 years): €13.90/month per seat

Additional calls exceeding the included bundle are billed at €0.29 per minute. Payment is processed monthly via Stripe. Subscriptions are valid for the selected contract period (1 or 2 years) and renew automatically unless canceled before the end of the period. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.

6. Free trial

New users may receive a 14-day free trial. No credit card is required to start a trial. At the end of the trial period, you must subscribe to a paid plan to continue using the service. Unused trial days are not refundable or transferable.

7. Phone number

Upon subscription, you are assigned a Finnish phone number for use with the service. The number is owned by Vahti Technologies Oy and is returned to the number pool upon cancellation. You may request to port (transfer) your number to another operator upon cancellation.

8. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation, your service will remain active until the end of the current billing period. After cancellation, call forwarding to your Vahti number will stop working, and you should disable unconditional forwarding with your carrier (e.g. by dialling ##21#). Refunds are not provided for the current billing period.

9. AI-generated content

Call summaries, caller identification, and call categorization are generated by AI and may not always be accurate. Calls are not stored as audio recordings — only text-based summaries and transcripts are saved. Vahti does not guarantee the accuracy of AI-generated content. You should not rely solely on Vahti summaries for critical decisions. Vahti is not responsible for errors or misunderstandings by the AI agent.

10. Calendar integrations

Vahti supports calendar integrations (Google Calendar, iPhone Calendar, Outlook Calendar) to automatically route calls when you are busy. Calendar data (event times and titles) is used solely for determining your availability. You may connect and disconnect calendars at any time in the app settings.

11. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use Vahti for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to intercept, record, or misuse calls not intended for you
• Resell or redistribute the service without authorization
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, disrupt, or overload the service

12. Limitation of liability

Vahti is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for missed calls, inaccurate AI summaries, carrier-related issues, third-party service outages (Telnyx, LiveKit, Supabase), or any indirect damages arising from use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the fees you have paid in the preceding 12 months.

13. Changes to terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Finland. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Helsinki, Finland.
