Terms of Service

1. Service description

Vahti is an AI-powered call screening service. When calls are forwarded to your Vahti number, our AI agent answers, identifies the caller, and generates a structured summary. Results are available in the Vahti mobile app and web dashboard. Vahti only processes voice calls — text messages, SMS, and 2FA codes are never affected.

2. Account and eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and have a valid Finnish phone number to use Vahti. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.

3. Call forwarding

Vahti requires you to set up call forwarding from your carrier (Elisa, DNA, Telia, or other Finnish operators) to your assigned Vahti number. You are responsible for configuring and managing call forwarding with your carrier. Carrier charges for call forwarding may apply according to your mobile plan.

4. AI-generated content

Call summaries, caller identification, and call categorization are generated by AI and may not always be accurate. Vahti does not guarantee the accuracy of AI-generated content. You should not rely solely on Vahti summaries for critical decisions.

5. Pricing and payment

Vahti offers the following tiers:

• Personal: €9.90/month per user

• Professional: €29.90/month per user, includes 100 calls

• Enterprise: Custom pricing

Calls exceeding the included bundle are billed at €0.29 per minute. All prices exclude VAT unless stated otherwise. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.

6. Free trial

New users may receive a 14-day free trial. No credit card is required to start a trial. At the end of the trial period, you must subscribe to a paid plan to continue using the service. Unused trial days are not refundable or transferable.

7. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation, your service will remain active until the end of the current billing period. After cancellation, call forwarding to your Vahti number will stop working, and you should disable forwarding with your carrier.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use Vahti for any unlawful purpose

• Attempt to intercept, record, or misuse calls not intended for you

• Resell or redistribute the service without authorization

• Attempt to reverse-engineer, disrupt, or overload the service

9. Limitation of liability

Vahti is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for missed calls, inaccurate AI summaries, carrier-related issues, or any indirect damages arising from use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the fees you have paid in the preceding 12 months.

10. Data and privacy

Your use of Vahti is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using Vahti, you consent to the collection and processing of data as described therein.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Finland. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Helsinki, Finland.

12. Changes to terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification at least 30 days before they take effect.
